Bodinayakanur is the beautiful town surrounded by the ranges of the western ghats on three sides .due to the weather and natural environment,the first prime minister of india,Jawaharlal nehru,called the town as "South Kashmir"🗻

During 19th century,bodinayakanur was an important place in the nayakar rule.There is a small palace built by the bodanayakar.This palace has been built the 'jaipur palace'in mind.

Bodinayakanur is the "cardamom capital of india"This place is known for its coffee production ,with coffee cultivation was carried out in the area for more than 250 years.Cardamom and silk cotton are the major export goods

In bodinayakanur ,the climate is very good.the average temperature in daytime is 25degree celsius to 30 degree.Here the main business is agriculuture .it is on the border between Tamilnadu and Kerala.⛰⛰⛰
